You may already know this, but since the COVID-19 pandemic, the TAPAT team has taken the initiative to work from home. We are going to share with you what led us to make this decision and what our experience has been.

For those of you who have known us for a long time, you probably know that before the health crisis we worked in a coworking space in the heart of Toulouse. It was a very pleasant place where we could share our work life with other entrepreneurs.

However, in the face of the pandemic and government decisions, we were forced like many others to #workfromhome. And we have done so quite well. Indeed, we have adapted thanks to the numerous video-conferencing tools (Meet, Skype, Zoom, etc.).

These new changes wound up pushing us to decide to stop working in the coworking space for good. As a result, David, our Technical Director, was able to move near Spain.

Today we can say that we are a decentralised creative digital agency. We’ve realized that even if this period is difficult physically for some and mentally for others, our decision has ultimately been the best one for our team. Not only has each member learned to be more autonomous and responsible, but it has also given us more freedom in where we choose to live and work. Plus, our decision doesn’t prevent us from keeping in touch with our clients and travelling for meetings, conferences etc. – quite the contrary.

Moreover, physical distance does not mean social distance. We stay connected and in touch continuously on Slack and Meet. The team remains present for each other, and for its clients as well. The forms of contact may be different, but everyone’s presence is still felt.

This health crisis was therefore a turning point in TAPAT’s journey. We were able to adapt and have found our balance.
This has been our story. How about sharing yours with us?
